    Rajasthan Royals’ director of cricket, Kumar Sangakkara, highlighted Riyan Parag’s maturity, citing it as a key factor for his success. Promoted to No.4, Parag showcased his talent in the IPL 2024 match against Delhi Capitals with a brilliant innings.

    In a stunning display of batting prowess, Parag dominated Delhi Capitals’ Anrich Nortje in the final over, smashing two boundaries and two sixes, accumulating 25 runs. Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan predicted Parag’s future, claiming he would represent India within the next two years.

    Batting with confidence, Parag formed crucial partnerships with Ravichandran Ashwin and Dhruv Jurel, ultimately remaining unbeaten on 84 off 45 balls, contributing significantly to Rajasthan Royals’ total of 185-5. Parag’s entertaining innings, comprising six sixes and seven fours, earned him the Player of the Match award.

    Reflecting on his performance, Parag credited his practice and expressed gratitude towards his captain, Sanju Samson, for guiding him through the innings, emphasizing the importance of staying at the crease until the end.
