Australia Unveils Home Summer Schedule with India and Pakistan Tours

Australia has revealed the schedule for its upcoming home summer, featuring high-profile visits from India and Pakistan, setting the stage for an exciting cricketing season.

The itinerary includes a five-match Test series against India, set to kick off in Perth on November 22, followed by matches in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, concluding in early January.

The series against India marks the first time since 1991/92 that Australia and India will compete in a five-match series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, promising a thrilling contest and a chance for both teams to enhance their standing in the ICC World Test Championship.

Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley expressed excitement about the upcoming fixtures, highlighting the significance of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and the Women’s Ashes series, expecting heightened viewership and attendance.

The home summer will commence with Pakistan’s visit, featuring three ODIs and three T20Is in November, followed by India’s women’s team’s tour for three ODIs in December. The season will also witness Australia taking on New Zealand and England in various formats, including a historic day-night Test match at the MCG.
